Call of Duty: Black Ops Announced, Coming Nov. 9
Call of Duty fans rejoice! Treyarch, the studio behind Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty: World at War, have unveiled Call of Duty: Black Ops. The announcement was accompanied by a dedicated website and the promise of a teaser trailer on tonight’s GTTV with Geoff Keighley on Spike.
Activision, who are publishing the game, have made it clear they want to dominate holiday sales each year with consistent franchise releases. Call of Duty: Black ops does nothing to buck the trend, and is scheduled for release on November 9 2010. Read Full

When AAA titles like Splinter Cell: Conviction and Bioshock 2 fled in fear of Modern Warfare 2′s November 10th release date into the safety of spring 2010, they did so for good reason.
